The John's Carpet storage building at 311 Higuera is located on the east side of South Higuera near the intersection with Walker St.. My research shows that this was a Texaco station for most of it's life since the 1930's. It was Vic's Texaco in the late 1940's, and changed to Mike's Texaco some time before 1955.
