Vallarta's Mexican Food at 1761 Monterey Rd. and a Beacon gas station at 1756 Monterey Rd. These are both near the corner of Grand Ave.. The restaurant had that classic old look to it, and indeed upon further research, it was known as the "Little Chef Drive-In" back before 1955. I'm still researching the history of the Beacon station.
